About Us
Liberty Toastmasters is one of over a hundred Toastmasters clubs in San Diego. Founded in 1980 by Libertarians, the club has grown to include everyone who wants to improve their public speaking skills.
A community club, we help members grow by helping them set and meet their speaking and leadership skills. Members learn communication and leadership skills through active participation in a relaxed, supportive environment. Members have the opportunity to prepare and deliver speeches on topics of their choice.
What to expect:
A traditionally small, friendly club, we meet weekly to practice speaking. Because of our size each attendee is able to take on a speaking and evaluation role. This helps us overcome our fears and reach our personal goals faster.
As a guest you have the opportunity to speak at the beginning of the meeting when the VP Membership introduces you, during Table Topics (informal question answers where every person in attendance has the option of answering a question), and at the end of the meeting to provide feedback.
