Most Thursdays follow our usual agenda. Every few months we do something different: a themed night, a guest speaker, or a get-together outside the meeting room.

Our October 29 meeting takes on the theme "Scary Stories." Wear a costume if you'd like, and bring snacks to share. Table Topics, the speeches and Literary Corner will all lean into the theme. A good night to bring a friend.
7:00–8:30 PM at St. Paul's Conference Center, 2557 Third Avenue. No RSVP needed. Guests are welcome at any meeting.

We spent a Sunday afternoon in the sun at Pioneer Park with a light picnic, plenty of pizza and some chocolate cake. There was soccer, bocce ball and a loud game of Blank Slate. Stepping away from the usual meeting structure for an afternoon turned out to be the best part.

We turned a meeting into a late-night talk show. A host and sidekick interviewed guests, there was a top ten list, a Toastmaster on the Street segment, and members ran 30-second commercials for their businesses. The usual meeting roles all had a talk show counterpart.

Six members debated the question "Is it the best of times or the worst of times?" We skipped Table Topics, and everyone stayed afterward to talk it through.
